I'm supporting children and young people with disabilities in North Yorkshire
Ryedale Special Families is an independent charity based in Malton. Founded in the 1990s by a small group of parents with disabled children, it’s grown significantly over the past 25 years, and today, provides care and support for more than 400 families throughout the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire.
Providing a wide range of services including information, advocacy, flexible one-to-one care, social groups and family activities, it offers a vital support network to help families and young people with all kinds of disabilities. The charity depends heavily on fundraising to finance the work it does, and the Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Challenge is an important part of this picture. The loss of income from the cancellation of this year's Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Challenge is a devastating blow to the charity and the families it supports and money raised from this Virtual 2020 event will make a huge difference to them.
Day 1 82 miles smashed!! 💪🏻Saturday 18th Jul
UnbelievableSunday 14th Jun Can’t thank everyone enough, who have already donated! Honestly very humbled by everyone’s kind donations. As my original target of raising £1 per mile has been smashed out of the park so early, I have increased it to £2 per mile. Honestly can’t thank you all enough x Share
